Are there any secrets to placing a good ad?
YES! We’re glad you asked! Make sure your title is full of delicious keywords, like Barrel Horse for Sale, or Finished Barrel Horse, or Started Barrel Horse, or Speed Bred Filly, you get the idea. Because shortly after your ad is placed, Google and other search engines crawl the website and will see your title and place YOUR AD directly in the search results. So people don’t even have to come to Runninghorses.net to see your ad! Give it a shot, place your ad, and then google a few keywords from the title! 
What is the cost to list an item on Runninghorses.net?
Currently the ads are free. Runninghorses.net is in it’s Beta Phase which means that we have rolled out the website before the entire feature set has been completed. Until the new site is ready, ads are free. That includes photo ads! However, you may pay $5 for an upgrade to a Featured Ad.
I have a Beta in my fishtank. What the heck is a Beta on a website?
Beta is a term that web developers and software programmers use to describe a system’s current level of release. Typically, the software undergoes several stages in the developmental process. The Beta Release is usually the one that is rolled out to the public for real-world testing, but may not contain the full set of features that have been proposed for the software.
How long does my ad run?
Your ad will run for 30 days. You are required to keep track of this date as there is currently no auto-notifications. They are planned for the next release.
How do I change edit my Profile or password?
Make sure you are logged in to your account. You will see some links under the words Welcome, User on the right in the white box below the search box. The middle like is your Profile link where you can edit your details from that page, including your name, email address, password, and more.
I posted a free ad. Can I upgrade it to a featured ad?
Absolutely! Unfortunately, right now, the only way to accomplish this is to re-create your ad and make sure you check the “Featured Ad” box this time around. This option is being built into the next version so you will be able to eventually just “upgrade” your ad directly from your dashboard. If you don’t want to delete your ad and go through the motions again, shoot us a quick message and we can help. If you paypal the featured ad fee, we can mark the ad as Featured manually.

How do I advertise my business or service in the top banner ad or elsewhere on the site?
Currently we charge $25/mo for featured banner ad advertising. Your banner goes into rotation and is displayed on all pages. Contact us for further details.
